Why did we upgrade the CAKE Moonpot?
We upgraded the CAKE Moonpot in order to be able to add different Bonus rewards to all future Moonpots.
This means that we were able to add $50,000 DODO that will be added to to the CAKE Moonpot’s APY, and an additional $50,000 Super Boost BNB to your APY well. As well as $40,000 of DODO to the prize draw on the new CAKE Moonpot before August 2nd.
It also means we can add bonus interest rewards from any token to future Moonpots.
Because of the upgrade, you need to move your CAKE to the new CAKE Moonpot.
Moving your CAKE will cost you BNB for the transaction fees. To help make this worth your while we have added an additional Super Boost of $50,000 BNB to the interest you will earn on your CAKE in the new Moonpot.
Please note, moving your CAKE to the upgraded POT is a one off event, because of the upgrade. After you are in the new CAKE Moonpot you will automatically be in future Prize Draws.
Once the $POTS token is minted on August 2, we will be adding bonus $POTS rewards to the new CAKE Moonpot. As long as you move out of the retired CAKE Moonpot, into the new one this week, you won’t need to move again from the new CAKE Moonpot to benefit from the upcoming bonus $POTS.
This guide shows you how to move your CAKE, as well as explaining how we have made it as easy as possible for you to move to the new Moonpot, and why we upgraded it.
Please note, that the upgrade will not impact your WHO Airdrop. The snapshot was already taken on 25 of July by SafePal, and this upgrade will not reduce your shares in any way.
How are we making this easy for you to move your CAKE?
To make it as easy as possible for you to move your CAKE from the old Moonpot to the new one, we are doing three things:
We have removed the Fairness Fee from the old Moonpot game. That means that you can withdraw your CAKE without any Timelock penalty.
You will see in your Past Pots in the My Moonpots section of play.moonpot.com that regardless of when you deposited your CAKE, your Fairplay Timelock has been set to zero. Your Fairplay Fee has also been set to zero.
We have added a button to the old CAKE Moonpot game that will allow you to move your CAKE with a few clicks.
You don’t need to leave Moonpot.com to move your CAKE to the new CAKE Moonpot.
We have added $50,000 of BNB as a Super Boost on the new CAKE Moonpot
As soon as you move to the new CAKE Moonpot you will begin earning APY in CAKE, DODO and BNB. You can check the current APY at play.moonpot.com.
Why should I move my CAKE into the new Moonpot?
There are a few reasons why you should move your CAKE into the new CAKE Moonpot.
If you don’t move your CAKE you will not be eligible for next weeks CAKE draw. The prize is already $40,000 thanks to the bonus DoDo prize.
Only Cadets who move their CAKE will get tickets for the new draw. Tickets for the new CAKE Moonpot will show as moonTICKETCAKEV2 in your wallet.
If you don’t move your CAKE you will not earn any bonus DODO and BNB tokens from the new Moonpot.
Only Cadets in the new CAKE Moonpot will earn bonus APY from the DODO and BNB tokens. The longer you leave before moving your CAKE, the less bonus tokens you will earn.
How do I move my CAKE into the new Moonpot?
We’ve made it as easy as possible for you to move your CAKE to the new CAKE Moonpot.
Please note, if you had withdrawn your BIFI prior to trying to move your CAKE, then the current Move and Withdraw button will not work for you. We will add a new button for this case shortly, and announce when it is ready. In the meantime, please note your CAKE is safe, and will be available soon.

I’ve moved my CAKE what should I do now?
Now that you have moved your CAKE to the new Moonpot you can sit back and relax. You will be eligible to win the prize of CAKE and DODO that will be drawn on August 2nd. You will also already be earning interest in CAKE, DODO and BNB.
Moonpot is a win-win savings game. So it does not cost you to be in the draw. If you aren’t one of the lucky draw winners, the CAKE you desposited is still yours, and is still earning interest while you have it on Moonpot.
